Description

Fabric attached to sari silk thrums (a byproduct of weaving silk saris) is cut from the thrums and stitched end to end to make this bright, colourful sari silk fuzzy ribbon yarn. Every skein is wonderfully unique and the fuzziness of the yarn creates an interesting texture and look. Best of all, this product gives a purpose to this suprisingly beautiful weaving byproduct.

You may encounter some stiffer ribbon within the skein; this is due to pastes used in the textile industry.
